History
NP-Tryck AB was founded in 1958. The initials NP arose when the founder's grandfather Nils Peter passed away and left behind a will that came to be the foundation in a manufacturing company. The focus of the activity was at first unclear and thus the company got the bland name NP-Verken. During a trade fair in Germany a 1-colour sheet-fed offset printing press was bought, which for the time was very innovative. To deal with this technical miracle Gunnar Paulsson was employed.
After just a year, the direction of the company was clear. Full focus was put on the modern printing activities.
NP-Verket changed its name to NP-Tryck (NP-Printing) when Gunnar Paulsson bought the company and since then, it has been a family business with the Paulsson family as the sole owner. One of the first printing orders that was completed was for Findus as Fru Djupfryst was launched!
The company was located for quite some time at Hästhagsvägen in Helsingborg. In 1974 we moved to "Tretorn's old shoe factory" in Ramlösa. The property was left in 1974 when a fire started at the repro house that rented the attic totally destroyed the house. With great haste, a new property was found at the Berga industry park and within two months, production was running again.
